We are very grateful to a Churchend parishioner who kindly rebuilt the old well which is on the site of our burial ground. He carefully replicated the shingle roof of the new oak structure, and even replaced the handle with a new one (which of course doens’t lift water from the capped well). The well is a part of the heritage of the burial ground, and although it cannot be used is now once again as beautiful as the rest of the site, and indeed the setting.
