At the May 14th full Parish Council meeting, the council resolved to declare a climate and ecological emergency and associate itself with the building number of organisations that are calling for urgent action to address the catastrophic effects of our carbon emissions.

Though the actual carbon debt of the parish council is very small, we are working to reduce it.

At the same time, we are seeking to resist carbon intensive development, and to ensure that only when the infrastructure is in place to minimise its impacts are developments progressed.
