The Parish Council / Village Plan Group will be making comment…..but as with all consultations – the more responses – the better….

Have your say on county transport plan
People across Gloucestershire are being invited to share their views on the county’s transport blueprint.
The Gloucestershire Local Transport Plan is a document which sets out the county’s transport priorities and direction of travel over 20 years.
It is a legal requirement and all highways authorities in England must have one.
The current plan was agreed in 2011 however it is regularly reviewed to make sure we’re still on the right track.
The first review of the plan is taking place this year and Cabinet has today (Wednesday) agreed that public consultation can take place to find out what people think.
People will be asked general and area specific questions about things like how the road network is managed, sustainable travel, HGVs and proposed transport schemes.
They can choose to answer all the questions or just those that are relevant to them.
Last autumn, more than 100 relevant organisations were invited to give their feedback, now it’s time for the public to have their say.
Cllr Will Windsor Clive, cabinet member for transport planning, said: “It’s important that we pause and take stock of what we’re planning.
“Times change and our priorities change so we need to know what people think about the plan and whether or not they agree with what’s in there.
“Transport affects us all in one way or another so I’d encourage everyone to take part; even if you only answer a couple of questions your feedback is essential.”
