Charfield is a parish and village of around a thousand homes, nestled between the River Severn and the Cotswold Escarpment, in South Gloucestershire on its border with Gloucestershire, in the west of England. Close enough to the M5 motorway for convenience, and set sufficiently into open countryside to retain a quiet, more gentle, life.
